This training supplies the tools needed to describe and apply the workflow for dynamic analysis in FLAC3D, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of each step involved, including model setup, boundary conditions, input signal application, and damping, to effectively analyze dynamic behavior in geotechnical simulations.
This was a one-hour long presentation and Q&A session on the new features and capabilities now available in UDEC 7.
UDEC is capable of simulating a wide range of engineering and scientific analyzes including: stability analysis of jointed rock slopes or underground excavations; fluid or gas flow through jointed rock; stability of masonry structures, dams, and foundations; blasting, earthquakes, and microseismicity; among many more applications.
